Retired Tucson Division engineer Lee Sebring passed away suddenly March 7th. in Tucson. He
hired out in Tucson in the mid 70s and was 67 years old.
Lee worked with a cadre of retired firefighters to restore
two historic Tucson Fire Department apparatus: a 1928 Ahrens
Fox, and 1923 American-La France (ALF). Both engines,
restored to museum-quality, are on grand display in the
lobby of Tucson Fire Department's Fire
Central.

Worked the engineers extra board in Tucson from 1984-1989. Spent more than one meal with Lee at the El Charro in Lordsburg,New Mexico. Great engineer and a nicer guy you couldn't find...Rest in peace Brother!

Didn't know him but he died way too young and I'm sorry for his family. Had a Dalmatian for 14 years and am sorry for the dog too. Some rails, too many, don't last long away from the job.
