Any former AT&SFRy employees recognize these men?
Author: StarshipConductor

Do any former AT&SFRy employees recognize the Conductor, Brakeman & Engineer. When I was 13-14 years old
I would ride the Santa Fe's El Capitan to Los Angeles from Pomona and return on the Chief. These 3 Gentlemen
would kinda take care of me. Unfortunately I have forgotten their names!
These photos were taken about 1967/68 at Pomona after I returned on "The Chief".

I also rode quite a bit with this Gentleman. He was such a nice Porter! But I do remember he also
had a temper. If a Passenger started asking to many dumb questions, he became short with them.
I took this photo at LAUPT just before boarding "The Chief" in 1967/68.

I took these photos of the "Chief". When I was riding It departed LAUPT at 10:30am and arrived
at Pomona about 11:35am. The pictures of the train crew were taken at Pomona and the Porter
was at LAUPT. Trains #19 & #20 were The Chief.

Old Santa Fe RR train crews like the ones on the othe Chief in the first shot were based out of LA and Needles, CA and worked between Los Angeles and Needles. LA based engine crews worked between Los Angeles and Barstow, CA.
