No Time to Waste
Author: ETFuller

In 1969, the handwriting was on the wall for railroad passenger service and Bob Hughes, who was working for the New Haven at the time, realized there was "No Time to Waste." Join Bob as he travels by train across the U.S. and Canada in the days before Amtrak and VIA.

Nice stories - I really enjoy these.   Thanks for posting the link, and thanks to the author for taking the time and outting them down in such a lucid manner.

Great post.

Great photos, perfect amount of narrative and Bob came from what I call my railroad, the NYNH&H. We must be about the same age, so all those cars, tracks, trains and people look perfectly modern to me! Job well done, thanks.
