Railroaders' Nostalgia > Alco Diesel Hydraulic LocomotivesDate: 11/06/18 11:56 Alco Diesel Hydraulic Locomotives Author: twropr Any information on ALCO C643DH hydraulics in the 1960's that made experimental runs over the D&H? Did they operate over any other railroads? How long did they last and what was their downfall? Apparently they were ALCO's response to Krauss-Maffei's hydraulics that experimented on the Rio Grande and SP.
