My second favorite consist

Stopped at Granada, CO LaJunta sub westbound. Back in '06? 40,45,50,45-2. Too many wide cabs were showing up.
Have to see if I can find my fav.
No, thats not it. Trinidad CO.

Here it is, back in '07. Interesting how the ATSF set up the power control. Reverser forward and they were tugging at the bit.....Stopped at NA Jct Pueblo sub eastbound.

Give me a set of EMD standard cabs any day!  Cocked back in seat, feet resting on the cab heater, right arm resting on open window sill ( when not freezing), and running with one hand. Listening to the drone of the engine. Waving at folks!
Can't do that on one of those new fangled wide bodies. With those tinted windows can't tell if the crew is waving back or giving you the finger.
