When the Rail Grinder burns up (1993)

One of the power units on the Loram Rail Grinder caught fire while grinding on Donner Pass.

No crew members were injured and Southern Pacific dodged a bullet by not buring down the forest. Fire spotter planes were summoned to check out the smoke.

Now there's something you don't see every day for sure!
Talk about being there at the right place n time to catch on video.
Man, "whoa" when that big flame of (?) Came shooting out the left side, just Woww.
And that first guy who climbed up top must have smelled or heard something wrong, then he turned back as if to say "HEY uhh..."

Thats a great catch that you just dont see everyday. This being at the right place at the right time. Well done. This should be in the Nostalgia & History and not Railroaders Nostalgia.
