Railroaders' Nostalgia > "Runaway on Paris Hill!" (As told by "train1275")

As mentioned in a few other threads, retired railroader Doug Ellison, TO member "train1275," has just completed a book on the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western's Utica NY line titled, "A Fond Look At Phoebe Snow's Utica Division."

Recently, I interviewed Doug for my YouTube channel, "Railroading Rambler," while we both attended the DL&W RR Historical Society's symposium in Binghamton NY. I found this story about a runaway boxcar on Paris Hill in Jan 1967 particularly interesting. The full video, too long to post here, may be viewed on my YouTube channel.
