A. W. Mogytych was WPRR's marketing director and was the President and GM of the Portland & Western when it started up in 1995. My best memory of him, besides having an unpronounceable/unspellable last name, was during my newbie-conductor classes in 1996, where he ran the switch engine while we learned how to conduct ourselves.
