Mad Dog Chronicles # 36: Cotton Belt Timetable
Author: mdo

This is the only old Cotton Belt timetable that I have. Look carefully at the names of the officials. If you have been reading this series from the beginning you should be able to answer the questions in the next post above, recognizing that my name, as Assistant to the Superintendent is NOT carried on the timetable, so therefore, don't count me.

10/15/07 edit. The Quiz referred to above is found in MDC #37 at:

The Dipprey's
Author: jbwest

Nice to see that Dipprey Jr. got promoted. If I remember correctly, his dad was assistant super and my boss at Houston. Jr. was the conductor on my H&TC local. And a younger son was a brakeman. A real railroad family. I seem to remember that Dipprey Sr. did an article in Trains many years ago....not exactly a railfan but loved the railroad. Looks as if Rob had begun his meteoric rise since you showed him the ropes at Eugene. What can you tell us about Rob's move from Eugene to East St. Louis?
