NS ran a Toys For Tots train today, Delanson to Binghamton on the former D&H. 

Virtually no publicity at all, so the crowds trackside were far smaller than previous years. 

Gotta say, though, it was a nice looking train on a crystal blue day.

No snow for Santa's sleigh to ride on, but still a few ice columns farther up the hill.

What was on the rear of that train?

Bringing up the rear was an Amtrak pug, #125.

Looking over the images the consist of passenger cars seems to be :  Blue Ridge Club , a sleeper obs still in the IC scheme that was used by Iowa Pacific- built new by P-S for the C&O // a pair of Amtrak Viewliner IIs built by CAF about a decade ago // NP 549 , a Budd Company dome coach // NYC Babbling Brook a sleeper obs built for the NYC by the Budd Company for use on the "New England States".    To learn more about the last two cars take a look at" Webb Rail.com ".   Do you think that Richard Anderson was onboard helping hand out gifts enroute to help offset some of his past actions regarding the "Toys for Tots "train ??
