CSX 2533 growing an antenna from its cab?
it was dark and rainy yesterday

Seeing that there looks to be an orange strobelight on the slanted part of the cab roof just above the window, I would guess that it is part of the remote conrtol equipment.

RC antenna. The unit is based in New York, but is going to Huntington to get an engine block heater. Should return to Niagara next week.

OK, I saw this train on Sunday night at Brocton, NY. The lead unit was SD40-2 8062, followed by another SD40-2, then that Helm unit. I wondered why the Geep was dead.

Sure like to know how CSX moved this unit from Cincy to NY in a few hours?
