Today was one of those days in which the railfanning gods smile upon you...

Today's NS 119 (Linwood - Macon???) had the following lashup:

CEFX 2815 (former UP SD40-2)
NREX 9385 (former SP / SSW SD45T-2)
UP 8697 (SD40-2T, snoot-nose)
UP 2947 (SD40-2T)

The heritage of these units all go back to SP or Cotton Belt. On top of that; 4 EMD's, 3 of which were different styles of tunnel motors, all on the east coast, and you had the makings of a hell of a lash-up.

The best part was stumbling upon this train as I was headed home from work.

I sure hope there were plenty of you who got the chance to see this!
