Pinckneyville and Sparta, Il questions

My parents will be going down for a major trap shooting event in Sparta, Il in August. I've asked them to take train pics while they are there, if possible. The maps I've seen seem to show railroads tracks in both places.

What railroad lines are these? What railroads? Are these mainlines or secondary routes? Average train density on these lines? Anything else I forgot to ask that you know?
