Friday at Morrisville and Bristol, PA

On Friday, I made stops at Morrisville and Bristol to see if any of the shortlines there were running. In Morrisville, SMS 301, "Old Blue" was not running. I photographed the PRR caboose there, as well as the SMS tool car and SMS 301.

From there, I headed past Morrisville Yard. The only engine I saw from the road as I drove past was CSX GP15-1 (which was not running), so I made my way to Bristol.

In Bristol, Conrail Shared Assets Local FJ10 was working when I got there. I couldn't tell if the freight cars on the lead to the Bristol Industrial Park where left for or by the FJ10, but the Penn Eastern Lines switcher was not running. I decided to photograph the FJ10 rearranging their cars with NS GP40-2 3029, in horse head paint.

I would love to see the Penn Eastern Lines switcher running one of these days. Just need to work on the timing a bit...
