About the Bessemer & Lake Erie motive-power situation. Has Canadian National sent any CN painted units to North Bessemer (Penn Hills,Pittsburgh area)? Last train I saw going across the Alleghany river bridge at Harmerville had three SD45T-2 locos. This was about September 2006.

I heard at one time. Think it was last year. That a bunch of the 2400 series C40-8M's were going to be sent down to the B&LE, This never happened obviously. I have caught 2 B&LE units through Washago Ontario back in 2005. 909 on Feb 2/05 and 903 on April 26/05, both units I believe now are working transfer jobs in Minnesota.

Yes, the B&LE 909 and 903 have been working primarily in the Duluth area for quite a while now, but no non-B&LE units have been sent to Greenville to replace them.
