Sunday's Tropicana Train

Drove down to the Tropicana Yard in Bradenton, Fla. where I caught the inbound 0854 after it set off its cars along with the power for Bradenton Switcher 0705.

Lead unit for the 0854 coming into Bradenton was SD40-2 # 8856.

GP40-2 # 6120 is the yard power for Bradenton 0705.

Here the 0854 approaches the drawbridge over the Manatee River.

The power for 0854 in the middle of the bridge over the Manatee River headed for the Palmetto side.

Caught the 0854 at County Line Road at Port Manatee with the 655 leading headed for Tampa where a crew change will change the train to K650.

Here are a few Tropicana cars marked with a CA on the door designating them as cars for California.

Another car.

And another car.
