Has anyone heard of a website that give current train positions on dispatchers screens? preferably norfolk southern dispatch?

ATCS through web servers. Go to ATCS yahoo group for program and data.

Kinda funny how they persecute shutter bugs while allowing that type of info out to the public.

Just to be specific, it isn't the exact same info a dispatcher would see. No train-specific information is conveyed - no symbol, consist, nothing. Direction of travel is inferred, and location data isn't 100% accurate, though it's useful enough for railfanning purposes, certainly.

Really it's not much different than having the ability to listen to the train dispatcher on normal audio frequencies.

Other then being able to see what is way out there that is.

I find it very useful when waiting for that one more train.
