If you monitor http://www.newsnet5.com

Here is the latest from the Channel 5 web site:

"SPENCER, Ohio -- A train has derailed in Spencer, Ohio. Police said the train is leaking oil. Emergency crews are at the scene. No other information is known at this time."

If you monitor http://www.wkyc.com

Here is the latest from the Channel 3 web site:

"MEDINA COUNTY -- The Medina County Sheriff's Office is on the scene of a train derailment in Spencer. There are reports that two engines from the train are off the tracks. There are no reports of any injuries."

Check those sites in about an hour and there should be updates made about the situation.

So for those of us not local to the area, what railroad is this?

I believe it would be the WLE...

Yes, it's the Wheeling. Spencer is where their two principal lines intersect -- the original W&LE and the AC&Y.

Calling two locos hitting the ground a 'wreck' seems a bit over the top to me unless they've overturned or something, but if there's a fuel spill it's certainly newsworthy.

Probably they hit an ice bound crossing and derailed. A common derailment in the winter.

The WE 3016 picked a switch and took the CSX 7355 with 3 cars with it.

It was Wheeling train 389 bound for Willard.

Went down to the derailment around dusk and got these shots. They were sucking up the diesel from 3016 and you could smell it in the air. Looked like a real pain to fix and I can only imagine how the operating department, is enjoying this little break that bottlenecks the heart of the railroad.
