Yes it was a female, she had a little trouble with one of switches or lock as the engineer had to get out with a torch, I didn't see what they where working on, but they got it.

Nice shots of the local, I'm going to have to try and catch it again. Good idea to catch those signals too. In what was pretty close to the same angle you caught at the warehouse, I shot this local under Conrail on a day it rated a pair of the ex MGA "Super 7" B30-7R's, October 7th, 1994. And Alan, you have seen the CR 2035 recently as the Ohio Central's 4096. It has traveled close to the very same spot on the OC's north local as it crossed the Ft Wayne Line at Mace.

I talked with an employee from United, he said NS comes just about every day, usually real early or late day almost dark. Have to go through my OC files on that super7

My Dad worked at Hillman Barge next to the MR (As a few of us called it) shops in Brownsville PA. He came home and said "We're going for a ride". The MR was so proud of them that they had an open house. They even built steps up to them and let people walk all through them. Just like chain stores, the bigger the railroad the less personal they are.

Looks like that grade might require some sand even in good weather.
Close side (and top) clearance looks tight. Your switching photo are neat. Aaron 22
