Maybe my bitching about the skies always being gloomy when this train comes around did some good... Now if I could have just got the sun a bit more to the north... Well, maybe next time. I captured CSX's OCS (office car special)or executive train just after it left Parsons Yard , at "River" on the Columbus Subdivision, this morning at about 08:40.

Nice photo. I personally would reduce the amount contrast and increase the amount of saturation and increase the amount as the sky,trees and tops of the train are washed out. A better thing is to meter in manual move and under expose by 1/3-2/3 of a stop.

I'd say its a nice enough shot but looks seriously oversaturated and/or too much photoshoping done to it - unless vegetation in Columbus glows. There's also "haloing" along the tops of the trees and contrast issues. Perhaps start over on processing it?

FYI - as of 1125 the train is currently sitting in Walbridge making a manuever to shove into a track and refuel the engines, once that's done the Lima crew should hop on board and highball for Lima (per scanner chatter).

When leaving Toledo will it return
back to Fostoria, Deshler, Lima

or Toledo, Deshler, Lima.

Dispatcher wants all the work crews of tracks by 1245 . All the work crews are at Columbus Grove or south so expect the train pretty soon.

Crew change was done here in Lima. Took off about 230PM, so it should be to abouFt Fort Shawnee/Cridersville about now. Pic is of it here in lima. Consist was the following, along with a few more shots later tonight.
