Heads up Cincinnnati- K858 South
Author: CGTower

K858 went south this evening with CP power. Here is a small sampling...

Photo 1, rounding the curve in Ottawa, Ohio (one of the few on the Toledo Division north of Lima)

Photo 2 and 3, Medium Clear for Q342, who arrives soon after.

With Q342 safely around, the K858 accelerates south at the south end of the Ottawa, Ohio passing siding.

They'll probably cut the power off in Corbin like usual and leave us in the south with plain old CSX Gevos. Thanks for the heads up and nice shots too.

Must be potash loads. May not make it to Corbin with several places in Ohio to unload a unit train of potash.

Look at the photo of the 40's, not to often you can get the same number on two units with only rearranging the digits!
