Author: farmer

A earlier thread on the Toledo subdivision mebntioned a
X-209 was ready to depart Walbridge northbound. on
Wednesday. X-209 operated west of Deshler today.
Train was loaded with Dodge and Caddilacs. Any
chance same train and operated via Bates?

All I can add from first hand knowledge is that at the end of my lunch (around 1PM) I heard the crew tell the RL Disp. they were on board and "ready to head north" and we saw the one unit wonder's head end near Union St. facing north (with Q150 next to it also ready to go). I also did not see them go down the Toledo Sub before leaving at 5PM but neither of those conclusively proves where it went/what it did and with the way things have been lately I wouldn't lay any bets on what happened that I didn't see/hear!

Yes. The train pulled empty racks from Walbridge to New Boston, spotted them and then pulled loads back to Walbridge.
