Eastern Railroad Discussion > Black River & Western Corn Maze trainDate: 10/23/11 08:10 Black River & Western Corn Maze train Author: OCtrainguy On weekends in October (the last weekend in September was rained out), the Black River Railroad Historical Trust, working with the Black River & Western railroad is running Corn Maze trains from Flemington to "Pumpkin Junction" where a corn maze and pumpkin patch are. Between soccer and family events, I haven't been able to get out there until last weekend.
In the first photo, the train approaches Pumpkin Junction while the second photo shows the train boarding passengers at the station. In the third photo, another train approaches Pumpkin Junction as seen from the pumpkin patch and corn maze. Hope you enjoy. Somehow I get this weird mental picture of tracks laid in a corn field with stub ends and you have to back out and try another track. :)
