Night photos at dawn, then dawn photos
Author: agrafton

Shelly Materials, Kent Ohio, got their first CSX stone train Thursday and I was out their at 6 am in the dark
to photograph Shelly’s SD18m “Flash” starting up and Engineer Bob getting CSX engines 2 HLCX engines started
also and bring the trains together and up to the pit for unloading.
The photos are in sequence somewhat as it was dark and raining when I started with tripod and umbrella.

photo 1 SD18m idling
photo 2 various views
photo 3 another night photo

Nice, Alan, especially like #3 with the sunrise.

Mild morning?

All very good photos, image #4 wins for me. Kinda haunting.

Hey Guys thanks for the compliments, it was everything the other morning from dark, rain, lighting, then heavy rain, back
to rain then the sun tried but gave up to dark again and more rain. For a while there I didn't know wheather to stand up,
sit down, salute the Flag or what....

However...learned a lot can't wait to try again

Thanks again

alan

Great pics Alan, that is the same power that D750 had for weeks! Where are the lightning pictures?
