After the Spencer show, NS should send this one to St. Louis so it can be posed with Terry Respondek's IT-esque beauties.

That was one of my first thoughts also - what a consist that'd be!

One more to go. There will be no mistaking what it is when you see that IT unit coming down the track. Looks great!

Meh, since basically 3 IT heritage units already exist (just on a short line) I wish NS had done a Lehigh & Hudson River unit instead.

There's so little of the L&HR still on the NS system map, I can see why they didn't.

Reading and Lackawanna/EL colors are represented among current shortlines, too.

Well the most important part is the L&HR bridge over the Delaware between Easton, PA and Phillipsburg, NJ. The Lehigh & New England would have been nice to do - they operate a lot of the remaining trackage.

From NS: they only operate .2 mile of ex L&HR - others had more significance including L&NE.

Yesssir! L&NE! Bring back the fried egg!

I ditto Tpatch and my brother send to Granite City/Americas Central Port and I personally guarantee our SD40-2 # 3086 will get a good washing and be posed with NS/IT # 1072. Kinda like this shot from April 27th 2010 of the IT # 2301 meeting a TRRA # 201 job.
