Ohio Trip Photos

I had a great week in Ohio! The weather was hot (although coming from Needles, CA, it was actually a relief for me) but most importantly it was dry. I got to see all the spots I wanted to see and then some, and saw many interesting trains. Seeing all the standard cab power on NS and particularly CSX was quite a nice change from the BNSF Transcon out west. Thank you everyone who has helped me out with info!!

I shoot video, but also snap a few pics here and there with the Point and Shoot, and below are some of those shots.

1. NS train 184 with run-thru CN power crosses the Portage River in Oak Harbor
2. 14Q in Oak Harbor
3. 186 using the connector just west of Oak Harbor

Compared to California, there's such colorful mainline power and standard cabs, too! Thanks for such a wide variety of angles! Makes me want to take off East!

Thanks! There were a few occasions when it was slow (a train every 30min. or so), but there were more occasions when I knew of 1 or many more trains being held out for other trains. It seemed like each afternoon the e/w CSX line would get busy just as the line out of Toledo would be trying to spit out train after train. Of course some NS trains were usually in the picture too trying to get through the CSX mess.
