Eastern Railroad Discussion > Any updates on NS 8025, 8105, 1073, 1071, and 1070?

I know there is a thread on the Monogahela already, but let's put all the engines together that could be or are in Eastern Ohio/Western Pennsylvania. I see the Interstate 8105 was on a empty coal train 861 heading east, Monogahela 8025 was in Mansfield early this morning, the Penn Central 1073 was either in Stratton or Mingo Junction, the Central of New Jersey was suppose to be back to the NS last night in Chicago, and the Wabash 1070 was loading at a mine in WV. Oh and the Nickle Plate is with the 765.LOL

AS of 23:00 last night the 1070 was sitting on the north end of Shire Oaks yard trailing.

8105 reported through Marion at about 13:20.

Any word on the 1071? I have a feeling it left Oak Creek in the cover of darkness.

NS 1071 was supposed to be in proviso by 9:30AM for a connection back to the NS, waited all morning nothing. An engineer told me that there was a significant delay and UP never got the train ready in the WEP facility so it probably left in the dark.

As of 1520hrs CST 8/12, CNJ 1071 is still at Oak Creek WI
