Much a I love the many restored steam beauties we have, I'd likely be torn between HARRIS tower in Harrisburg and AC in Marion (the latter in part due to living in Ohio and going to Marion for years, and due to Marion also having so many other restored tower boards, etc...). Not surprisingly, signaling and dispatching tend to be my area of interest... ;)

While searching for a photo to insert here, I found this shot showing four preserved pieces of equipment.
1. RDG 902: restored by the Lancaster Chpt.,NRHS and now owned by the Reading Company Tech. & Hist. Society. 2. RDG 903: (left edge of photo)restored and owned by the Philadelphia Chpt., NRHS and leased to the RCT&HS. 3. P and R 10: Strasburg Rail Road 4. J Tower: formerly located in Lemoyne, PA; moved and restored by the Lancaster Chpt., NRHS; now located on the Strasburg Rail Road. Photo was taken January 2008 on the SRR. Some day I will open Photo Shop and get to work on that annoying lamp post. Date: 11/15/12 20:04 Re: What's your favorite piece of restored RR Equipment Author: RuleG New York Grand Central Terminal
