Eastern Railroad Discussion > NS Port Road CongestionDate: 11/17/12 16:03 NS Port Road Congestion Author: CSXT_8437 Good Evening:
I had a chance to go down to Perryville, MD today and there were 2 empty coal trains waiting to go west to Harrisburg and a manifest train (36A?) waiting to go out onto the Northeast Corridor. Were there problems on the Port Road today between Perryville and Harrisburg? Thank you in advance. Date: 11/17/12 16:07 Re: NS Port Road Congestion Author: im_trainman I loaded flat cars today at Columbia, there was mention of more than 5 trains down there waiting, nothing that I know of happening on the Port Road though, might have been something on amtrak.
