Saluting our Veterans and Heritage
Author: blphoto

What a beautiful day to be a rail fan in Ohio. Thanks to all of the heads up on the NS Veterans unit. With a little help from my friends and some good luck. We managed to catch it quite a few times. I started my chase in Downtown Cleveland, Ohio at CP Drawbridge. Then headed West. This train was flying most of the time. I am not certain on the locations as we were in n out. Here is some of what we saw. -Brent

Photo2 - Vermillion, I think

Photo No. 4 looks like it's just west of the Portage River draw, west of Port Clinton, OH.

Good to see you, too, but I'm pleased with what I got, too....

1) Z4D unit oil train breaks through the fog at Martin, OH, an hour or so after sunrise.
2) 21G with the Veteran at Oak Harbor.
3) 861 at Oak Harbor (after I followed the 21G to Toledo and then chased the 861 back out).

The second unit on the oil train is BNSF 4082.

#12 is the best photo I've seen of the vet yet.

The Not Sure looks like its right by 3 mile crossing just outside Port Clinton, Ohio. Spent many an hours there waiting on NS action.
