HU.com reports it by Cresson about 09:35.

What is the final destination of 17G?

6920 reported throwing oil and blue smoke out the exhaust stack through Johnstown on that 17G this morning so it is having mechanical issues which is why new leader was added in Altoona....Dave W.

I can verify it arrived with 17G at Conway at 13:47. As Dave noted, it was second in the consist facing west, elephant style. Don't have any idea of the next move but wouldn't be surprised to see it head over to the engine house. Didn't notice if it was shut down or working as it arrived but no smoke.

I thought the extra engine might have been added because of the train length. I didn't count but it was really long.

Would have given the update sooner but had to drive home to access TO. I'm one of three folks who still doesn't have, or want, a cellphone. :-)

I guess whatever was up with the 6920 blowing smoke and oil at Altoona was either repaired at Conway or deemed inconsequential, because it's leading #15V into Bellevue, OH, today.
