With the leaves gone from the trees and the weather getting colder, Shen says she doesn't care ... but oh how comfortable I am now. She sleeps on a sheepskin throw in a laundry basket. I am looking down into the basket as she sleeps on her back, exposing her belly.

Along with some trains seen near her old home yesterday. Tiger continues to act like Shen's mother, they (play) fight and chase each other all over the house.

Should Shen & Tiger need a cat sitter I am available. We've sprinklers to chase and birds to annoy all year long here in So Cal. And even a lemon bush to explore if they are brave enough

I love the updates on the cute kitties.

Good to hear shen is doing well. Oreo over here on my end is doing quite well, although he is still outside. I think I have figured out he belongs to someone on the other side of the woods where I live, as almost everyone here feeds him.

I like reading follow-ups about Shen and other railfan rescues, too. But it might be appropriate to include a train picture or two in threads like this one, with a link to the cat updates, to stay on-topic.

...its hard work being a pussycat. It looks like Shen is working on the mandatory 16 hours per day of sleep required for cats.

Ahh, remember Shen is still a kitten. She is very active when the other girls want to just chill. ;-)

That is one relaxed cat. Good to know she has good home with a loving family.
