NS 1074 Updates
Author: zzzzz

I see that it left Bucyrus 45 minutes ago heading towards Conway.

Did you physically see it, or is this just an assumption? The computer still shows it at Columbus.

45 minutes ago was 1045. The train was on duty at Columbus at 1005. 40 minutes from on duty time in Columbus to Bucyrus is impossibly quick. Also, the train isn't called out of Mansfield. It's still planned. I think what you saw was something else.

I highly doubt that those of us in the Massilon, Canton, Louisville and Alliance area will see it anytime soon. Yes I have been told the crew is PLANNED for 1428 but then again if we do not get lucky (with her leaving Mansfield by noon) so be it. Will just have to cross my fingers and wish for her return trip; that is if she comes back the same way. Hope EVERYONE has a blessed Tuesday. I just read she was planned for Mansfield at 1528; definitely will not see her thru Canton area in daylight; whatever is left of it.

I didn't see it, but it did say Bucyrus when I last checked on that dang site. Oh well, thought we were going to get lucky with a daylight heritage unit sighting on the Ft Wayne Line.

The Lackawanna heritage unit passed Lincoln Rd. in north Columbus about 12:25 p.m. as the second of two pulling a loaded NB coal train.

Any updates? Even after dark, I know the Alliance station is lit up and other points along the route.

She just left Mansfield at 1630 for Shamokin Dam, Pa. Around another 300 miles from Canton, Ohio. She should hit Alliance around 1930 hours...

That is what my list said; Shamokin Dam is around Sunbury, Pa.

I was surprised it didn't just run via Lock Haven to get there, but if it had to weigh at Denholm, that explains the routing.
