Was in Bellevue, Ohio, NS Yard, May 20, 2001
and saw this different looking auto-rack.

Q2, Thrall Car, Tri-Level Auto Carrier

TCQX 99002 Built 7-99.

Can anyone give more info about this car.

Humm, I saw a UP version of this car back on May 27, 2001 on a NS train passing through Kalamazoo, MI. First and only time I've seen one.

Must have some additional flexiblilty or enhancement. Perhaps the floors are (height) adjustable to accommedate (sp?) minivans vs regular cars?

Anybody know the real story?

I believe these cars are taller for the SUV shipments.
