Of a pretty good Sunday adventure this last weekend. The location is west of Edgerton, OH on the NS Chicago line with one each way just before & after the sun dipped below the horizon.

(1) here is what I was messing with while MDH was shooting his (3) above. NS #M6E has the high green at CP352, Edgerton, Ohio.

Perhaps 20 minutes earlier, we shot a CP #606 oil train (2) on NS's former Wabash main line a few miles northeast of Butler, Indiana, thinking it would probably be our last train of the day.

After thinking we were maybe done because of oppressive cloud cover several hours previous, we shot 12 trains, also including this CP #143 (3) near Brimfield, Indiana between 3:30 p.m. and (shortly after) sunset that afternoon. That after having earlier caught the "New York Central" heritage unit on the ex-NKP main near the Ohio-Indiana border and a decent morning of foaming before that.

I hear Fort Wayne got 9" of snow yesterday, and some isolated heavier totals were reported northwest of there. Could head back that way on Saturday if there's nothing else taking priority.
