Eastern Railroad Discussion > NS Pokey Action at Wharncliffe, WVDate: 03/06/13 15:44 NS Pokey Action at Wharncliffe, WV Author: jrss Decided to spend my first day off this week taking some pictures. I set up at Wharncliffe, MP 437.9, at the entrance to the Gilbert Branch on Norfolk Southerns Pocahontas Division. Wharncliffe is approximately 31 rail miles east of Williamson. I know these are not the best pictures you'll see here, but I did enjoy myself this cold morning. I do hope you enjoy looking at these. As always, I appreciate any and all advice.

Date: 03/06/13 15:48 More Pokey action at Wharncliffe, WV Author: jrss As mentioned in the earlier post, Wharncliffe is on NS' Pocahontas Division approximately 31 rail miles east of Williamson. Date: 03/06/13 17:49 Re: More Pokey action at Wharncliffe, WV Author: Markedup I like the third, because it is a
good image of the slanted windshields. Thanks Mark Date: 03/07/13 05:05 Re: More Pokey action at Wharncliffe, WV Author: SandPatch1 I will say thanks. As just starting a Layout it is interesting to see the mountains without the tree's and leaves blocking the rock formations. Being older mountains not as many outcrops as I would imagine.
thanks again dave j Date: 03/08/13 05:59 Re: NS Pokey Action at Wharncliffe, WV Author: jrss Thanks for the comments!
