Any good hotels close to Berea? I will be trackside there for a day or two soon. I do not need a train view room, but something close, if possible. Thanks.

You have a couple of options for hotels close to Berea. Most are between 5-10 minutes or less of a drive.

In Brook Park:
1. Howard Johnson Inn - Cleveland Airport
2. Best Western Airport Inn & Suites - Cleveland
3. Holiday Inn Express - Cleveland Airport/Brook Park

In Middleburg Heights:
1. Red Roof Inn - Cleveland/Middleburg Heights
2. Days Inn - Cleveland Airport South
3. Residence Inn by Marriott - Cleveland Airport
4. TownePlace Suites - Cleveland Airport
5. Extended Stay America - Cleveland/Middleburg Heights
6. Courtyard - Cleveland Airport South
7. Crowne Plaza - Cleveland Airport
8. Motel 6 - Cleveland/Middleburg Heights
9. Comfort Inn - Cleveland Airport
10. Hampton Inn & Suites - Cleveland Airport/Middleburg Heights
11. Suburban Inn


...there are no hotels in the city of Berea though.

I recommend the Holiday Inn by the airport that is on the list above. I stay in hotels 50 weeks out of the year, and I have stayed at that particular one while attending a safety committee meeting. On a personal note, they sing your wake up call to you, traveler wise, it's very convenient on and off the highway and is a stones throw from Berea.

I stay at the Red Roof Inn Middleburg Heights-just 6-7 minutes from Berea stn restaraunt.
Clean,very reasonable and was renovated a couple of years back.

The Comfort Inn in Middleburg Heights offers a walk-in rate of $58 and has a nice hot breakfast bar. Many CSX employees stay there.
The Motel 6 nearby offers rooms starting at $45....the Red Roof Inn around $60.
