Did you get anywhere beyond Mance and Foley? (SA Area)

With that D1, can't they be a little sharper, and less washed out? With all the color you had...

I could not get in this morning. Afternoon, it let me in. Last two pics had nothing but screen. I have got to get you to the old bridge adbutments at "W", near Southfork. You would love the place, especially with the way the morning sun is at SO this time of year.AS always, great shots!....Roadrat

Site got 85 hits today, not sure if that is only the people who got through or not. Page was 500K.

I have mentioned before not to compare digital cameras by what you see on the web. I am posting highly compressed images because of the bandwidth problem, and I don't want people ripping off my high resolution images. I will share the compressed stuff to let you have an idea of what I saw. With high resolution printers, the D1 will make 8x10s that it would take looking with a loupe to tell it was not film.

My site will allow about 8-10 users to view 200 Meg per hour. That is not a problem being on train web, but after I post that I have an update on TO, I will get too many hits (14 the first hour yesterday). If you can't get in, wait til the next day.

PS - don't expect your Kodachromes from Sandpatch to have this much color. They are enhanced (increased color saturation) :-)
