Portsmouth to Cincinnati

I was wondering if anybody has heard that the line from Portsmouth, OH. to Cincinnati, OH. is being sold to the Indiana & Ohio Railroad?
The rumor is flying around here in Portsmouth.

That's a good one! Why would they want it? There's very little industry out there, just Ford at Batavia or Afton or wherever. It's really only worth anything to NS for the routing options it provides.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. Why would they want it? I don't even think the Ford plants ships that much. I never see any activity out there & usually just a couple of boxes sitting around.

Although, maybe the I&O has some inside scoop. There is a rumor of a Hyundi auto plant being built in Mount Orab that obviously would need rail transport.
