Eastern Railroad Discussion > CSX 677 CW60AC to be scrappedDate: 10/10/13 20:37 CSX 677 CW60AC to be scrapped Author: NWRailfan I'm hearing that the units involved recently in the wreck in Franklin, VA on CSX's Portsmouth Sub after a switch was tampered with and left to derail the oncoming train will result with CSX 677 being cut up on site. It was heavily damaged by fire and was on its side.

This too had heavy fire and collision damage and last I heard it was still lingering at Barr Yard, Riverdale, IL. My £$ is on them scrapping it.
