Vermont tranquility

A few days before Christmas 1979, LVRC freight climbs the hill out of St, Johnsbury, The kids with the sleds are as old as yesterday, and as young as tomorrow..........in Northern Vermont, change comes slowly.

That is an impressive plow on the lead Alco. Did they just install the plow during the winter?

Enjoy all of your posts!

Hey I recognize that plow. Didn't it used to be on a highway plow truck? I think it's a 1961 Oshkosh "High-V", model #22987.
