Eastern Railroad Discussion > Slide scanning (Test pics)Date: 01/04/02 11:11 Slide scanning (Test pics) Author: R.Geiter A few months ago I spent a day at Point of Rocks Md. I shot all slides and finally got a chance to scan them. This is the first time I've ever scanned slides. Let me know what you think. Those of you who have done this for awhile, your input will be greatly appreciated. (Good or bad)
Thanks R.Geiter Lancaster, Pa ![]() Date: 01/04/02 11:12 RE: Slide scanning (Test pics) Author: R.Geiter Date: 01/04/02 11:26 RE: Slide scanning (Test pics) Author: columbiadan They are the right size, in focus, no obvious digital artifacts and the color balance looks good on my monitor. Seems to me ya done good.
Dan Date: 01/04/02 11:52 RE: Looking Good ! Author: ge13031 What are you using to scan with ... finished product does not have that "scanned slide" look???
Date: 01/04/02 12:13 RE: Looking Good ! Author: R.Geiter I'm using a flatbed scanner with a 35mm film adapter. It will scan slides and 35mm negs. The scanner is an "Epson 1250 photo". You can see it at www.epson.com, under scanners. Thanks for the quick response. I'll post more when I get them scanned.
