New Year's Day CSX Action
Author: GP35

CSX ran some trains on this beautiful New Year's Day. I caught four trains up and running in the Brunswick, Maryland area. Q217 autorack train came west through Maple Avenue at 12:43 pm. It had two GE's for power. CSX 9006 and 7519 both still in YN2 bright future paint led the train. I did not get a picture but seen the train from the Marc parking lot area. The rest Q136, Q130, and Q416 I was able to get some pictures of. Here are the shots, Gilbert.

First three are of eastbound intermodal Q136-31 led by CSX 3084 and 7327 that stopped at Maple Avenue for a crew change. It departed at about 12:55 pm.

Thanks for the Pics.. we have some.. but yours are much better.

Yes, all of these were taken just a few yards away from the Marc commuter train station in Brunswick. Cheers, Gilbert.
