Eastern Railroad Discussion > NS PRR Heritage through the Shenandoah Valley todayDate: 01/26/14 17:30 NS PRR Heritage through the Shenandoah Valley today Author: hdralleiii After an early morning heads-up that the PRR unit was leading NS 201 towards VA, I made arrangements to give chase with my youngest railfan. Carter (4) and I met up with 201 along the H-Line (Roanoke District) in Greenville, VA followed by a second shot 25 miles to the south in Buena Vista, VA. I wasn't super excited about the Buena shot but I was striving to compose a shot with some CPL's and the PRR unit without driving all the way to Roanoke! Today was the first time the PRR unit has led through the Shenandoah Valley.
I also included a shot of 202 yesterday near Luray, VA with a snow covered Massanutten Mountain standing tall in the background. Enjoy! Hank New Market, VA Edited 1 time(s).
