NS 8103 leading 20R...
Author: Forever-Railfan-45

This train is now a Bellevue to Conway crew lately as well as the 25V...20R should take NKP to Bellevue. Once out of Bellevue then Avery, Shinrock and on way to Vermilion. Corrections welcome.

If it's on its usual schedule, it should be around Bellevue now. Too bad the weather's so lousy. Maybe it'll lead something back west this weekend.

Agree Toledopatch ... this weather is not favorable. But it would be cool to have it stop alongside this guy.. a photo from this past summer in Bellevue.

OD 1220 for Bellevue...

Engines delivering trains to E-rail in NJ tend to turn very quickly, and almost always on E-rail trains. (The E-rail facility is a few miles from the Oak Island engine facility, so it's often easier to flip them from E-rail.)

25Z to Chicago or 25R to Rutherford / Harrisburg are likely candidates for the return. A lot depends on whether a train is built and ready to go. With NS's current power squeeze, 25Z is a good bet for the flip side.

Any updates on the current location? Has it made it to Bellevue yet?

any estimates, time wise-mid morning, afternoon, etc., as to when we might see this here in central NJ?

20R stopped at FS (Fostoria) waiting on CSX.

Hmmm, it's running later than usual today.

If it were to turn for a 25Z, that would depart E-rail Saturday afternoon/evening, right?

Yes, although Saturday is sometimes an earlier departure than other days.

25R has been originating out of Croxton for some time now.

Thank you. That favors the odds on 25Z, I'd say.

I thought there were two trains out of E-rail. What's the other one?

Three trains originate (sign up crews and get power) from Erail. 25V, 25Z, and 23M. The only one that gets cars from Erail is 25Z. They moved the 25R traffic to Croxton for ramping. 25V and 23M pick up their cars from Dockside, in CRSAA.

This should put 20R on the Reading line tomorrow morning, running into the sun. It's supposed to be a beautiful day tomorrow, I hope things pan out for Eastern PA.

Still in Vermilion. I'm in Lorain at my parents. Toledo East just told 11J it can head West out of Fairlane after 20R clears.
