NYC or F9 updates?
Author: robbie

I see on HU that 1066 was in Sandusky a couple hours ago, and the F units are on the NKP back east? I have a little bit of time up here at Wayseon or could try getting south to Leipsic, so curious if anyone may have more recent updates? Would especially love to catch the NYC, as it and the N&W are two units I really hope to catch and haven't thus far.

Thanks!
Robbie

The 1066 is, according to eyes in the field, stopped behind a stack train that is waiting at CP285 (Vickers) in Northwood, OH.

I have tried to enter this one four times into Heritage units, but their new format keeps changing my entry to state that the 1066 is not leading. IT IS STILL ON THE POINT.

Thanks! I saw the new HU status and was confused by the change in lead status. Looks like I have ample time to grab lunch and wait a bit, just hope it's not too late with some meetings later today!

Patch, that HU bug should be fixed (my apologies!)

Yup, fixed now.

NS #65K rolled slowly through downtown Toledo just before 1500 (10mph Track 1 across the Maumee River bridge) - and even had some sun for it, although the eastbound 27M train blocked the shot at the depot (again!).

Is the OCS having a crew change in Bellevue before heading east?

Yes, thanks much. I do appreciate some of the changes, like the dialog box asking people if they want to use the auto-complete to fill out the detail boxes. (Now we just have to hope that people don't just reflexively accept auto-complete and leave outdated information in the fields.) The "visual sighting" check-off is useful, too, though I plan to say Yes to that one when I'm talking to someone who has an actual eyeball on it, too since my no-mobile-Internet friends and I sometimes post for each other's sightings.

I think it's spending the night in Bellevue.

The only thing about the new heritageunits.com is that I have both on my phone, the regular computer site as well as the mobile phone version... why, because I like to click on say ns1066 to see the reports, it would pop open a new screen to list individual previous reports & any comments.
Can't do that now on the phone, nothing opens.
