Eastern Railroad Discussion > Where Are The B&O Color Position Lights?Date: 04/24/14 20:27 Where Are The B&O Color Position Lights? Author: BCHellman Will be east of Chicago in a few days and was wondering where are the B&O color-position lights still in service? CGTower provided a nice list for the CH&D, but are there others? For example, the Pittsburgh Line, the old BR&P, the line in Indiana, etc.
Thanks, Brad Date: 04/24/14 20:35 Re: Where Are The B&O Color Position Lights? Author: Nictd1000 There is one CPL and a pair of Dwarfs last I saw in Dolton, IL at the UP(C&WI) diamonds.

I saw them riding the Capitol, but don't know how accessible their are in that tangle of railroads and industry. Date: 04/24/14 21:49 Re: Where Are The B&O Color Position Lights? Author: Nictd1000 Yes, there's one CPL at CP 501 where the connection to the B&O is but that one is not too easy to access.

The Toledo Sub around Deshler/Leipsic/Ottawa, OH is by far your best bet for a large number of CPLs, variety of structures, and train volume. Date: 04/25/14 04:41 Re: Where Are The B&O Color Position Lights? Author: CGTower And that would be the CH&D he referred to previously.
If you get south of Dayton, the last great concentration toward Cincy is at Hamilton. There are also several within Cincy Terminal but most are inaccessible is public access.
