NS 1066 Symbol?
Author: Vanakatherock

HU.com has the NYC unit leading a train south through Elizabeth, NJ this morning. Does anyone happen to have the symbol for this one?

Thanks

I would venture to say 65E...

Ah, okay. About time I posted the thread, someone updated it with 64E, so I imagine it'll be 65E soon enough. Thanks

The unload and go cycle at Motiva (if that's where it's heading) has been 18-24 hours recently.

I saw it this afternoon at Tremley / Linden, with the NS 1066, BNSF 6966, CSX 3132. It would appear to be next in the queue as a CSX K-Ethanol is unloading now. The CSX ethanol, with CP 9727 (CANADIAN PACIFIC font spelled out across the hood instead of stacked) and another CP GE has been there since atleast Monday. I would imagine that the 64E will turn into a 65E sometime tomorrow or Friday morning (Just a guess based on observations, not fact). The photo ops aren't very good down there and I wouldn't suggest snooping around either, since it is a "gray area" in my opinion. Also, down in Carteret there was an MTY CSX ethanol with a "Bluebird" CEFX AC4400CW and a CSX GE(?) in the lead.

64E is normally a Linden Ethanol
64K is a Motiva train

There might be more, but those are the only ones I'm aware of currently.

That CSX + bluebird is taking its time. I saw them at Motiva on Tuesday, late morning. Looked like they were packing up, but I'm not sure of that.

Thanks for the other info. There were four CP units at the Tremley gate on Tuesday, two sets of two each. Engines were shut down.
