Eastern Railroad Discussion > Is the Riverline Cab Signalled?Date: 05/08/02 21:40 Is the Riverline Cab Signalled? Author: Pj Is the River line in New York cab signalled? I know that most of the CR lines in the Northeast are, but I ask this because I saw a pic of a UP engine leading on the line. I am going to take a trip out that way, and would love to see some foreign power leading...
If it is, how could the UP unit lead? Date: 05/08/02 22:04 Re: Is the Riverline Cab Signalled? Author: Harron The Riverline (now River Subdivision) is not cab signalled. The other side of the river, the original NYC main, now the Hudson Sub, is cab signalled.
Corey Date: 05/09/02 07:32 Re: Is the Riverline Cab Signalled? Author: toledopatch The Selkirk-Buffalo freight main isn't cab signalled, either. The Hudson Line, Boston Line, Pittsburgh Line, and Amtrak/commuter agency trackage make it seem like a lot of the Northeast is cab signalled, but in reality the majority isn't.
