Fellow Allentowners,

I saw the ex-CR Operation Lifesaver caboose being 'hopped' back up to Chapman today on the C&F Secondary, one week after it was taken to Allentown Yard with some CN units. I imagine it was being shuttled back for service on the H88/H89 locals, but why did it leave, for repairs? Or, to drum up some local excitement for the railfans?!

Injuns used today weren't as good as the CN SD75's, but interesting nonetheless- a blue SD40-2 and a black GP60. Anybody else see it?

Last week caboose was taken over to the PBNE in Bethlehem for some passenger rides they gave this week. Do not know what was up with that though. Then like you saw today engine exchange brought it back to Chapmans today. Quite a very unique and rare move.
